One of my favorite fables from childhood is the “Tortoise and the Hare”. So, naturally, it came to mind as one of the books that I wanted turn into a Storytime episode on AUTHORized.
Even though this story is very old, (I’m talking at least 1400 years old), it has been retold in a READING RAINBOW book written and illustrated by Janet Stevens. The original author, Aesop, was believed to have lived between 620 BCE – 564 BCE.
