As a homeschooling parent of 15 years and counting, I know and understand the power of a good book with a positive message in it! One of my favorite things that my son enjoyed when he was little was story time right before bed. We would read at least TWO picture books before he went to bed each night. He’s 15 now, however those memories stayed with me and that was the inspiration behind starting a new video series on my YouTube Channel called, “KIDS READ ALOUD – IT’S STORYTIME on AUTHORized”.
The first installment in the series is a book called, “NOTHING” by Jon Agee! This book is funny, yet has a truly worthwhile message enlosed. This is a good one to watch right after dinner, as a family, with a short discussion about it afterwards. You may be surprised to find out how a good book can bring out a child’s insight!
